Welcome

Welcome to the first edition of Sublime Alchemy ART blog.  Sublime, because I love beauty and aspire to produce beautiful art.  Alchemy, because art is about transformation on many levels.  Firstly paint is transformed into an image which can be recognised, then this image can create feelings of awe, wonder and all kinds of other wonderful (and not so wonderful) feelings. The actual process of creativity is one of alchemy, simply because it is magical.  Being creative can completely change your day from one of humdrum to one of ecstatic joy.  I encourage you to pick up a paintbrush and get to know your inner artist. 

The Sublime Alchemy blog will provide you with lots of wonderful bits of information to help you get into the creative zone, and will keep you updated about creativity workshops and classes happening in the Wellington and Wairarapa Region.
